Root Canal Therapy

Comfort, Relief, and Long-Term Tooth Preservation

Benefits of Root Canal Therapy

At Dentistry of Upland, root canal therapy is a trusted treatment for saving teeth that are infected or severely decayed. Instead of removing the tooth, a root canal allows us to eliminate infection, relieve pain, and restore the tooth so you can maintain your natural smile for years to come. The Root Canal Procedure

Our goal at Dentistry of Upland is to provide root canal treatment that is thorough, gentle, and effective. What to expect during treatment:

  • Comfort First – The area is carefully numbed so you remain comfortable throughout the procedure.
  • Cleaning the Tooth – The infected pulp is removed from the inside of the tooth.
  • Disinfection & Sealing – The space is cleaned, disinfected, and sealed to prevent reinfection.
  • Restoration – A custom crown is usually placed to protect the tooth and restore full strength and function.

Most root canals are completed in one to two visits, depending on the severity of infection and the condition of the tooth. With proper care, a tooth treated with root canal therapy can last a lifetime.
